No more safety net

No more safety net as I left my job and am now 100% focused on launching Phix. Wow. It’s been a long time since I’ve been an entrepreneur and I gotta say that it feels pretty great to be taking the leap again. I’m going to be working out of the Maveron offices up in Seattle, which will make the transition super easy as my new office is going to be about 50 feet from my old one. I’m starting to work on putting together a small team and have been really fortunate to be able to link up with Sue Levin. I’ve known Sue for six years due to her work at lucy activewear, a company she founded and built into a successful chain of female focused clothing/lifestyle stores. She gets it and is going to be great to work with. She’s going to help me think about creating the company, the brand and products.
