I'm not sure if it's just folklore, but I've heard from a bunch of people that seeing eleven is supposed to bring you good luck. So, hopefully with those extra three added in there we'll be in extra good shape and 2008 will be a terrific year.

New Years Day - 14 bald eagles
I thought it was pretty cool and hopefully an indication of the kind of year we're going to have, but today I was up in Camano Island, about an hour north 
of Seattle, and ended up seeing 14 bald eagles in one day. Camano has a lot of eagles, but I've never seen more than five before. I'm not sure if it's just folklore, but I've heard from a bunch of people that seeing eleven is supposed to bring you good luck. So, hopefully with those extra three added in there we'll be in extra good shape and 2008 will be a terrific year.
