Maté is for artists

So I was wandering around the web the other day looking for interesting facts about yerba maté, one of the main ingredients in phix. Since I've found that phix really helps me focus and concentrate, I googled 'yerba maté and creativity'.

I found this amazing thread, from 2004, on this website for henna artists. It was amazing to read about how this guy was using yerba maté like a muse for his creativity. And there were some other fascinating facts about the different types of caffeine in plants and their different effects on people.

Two days later, I was in Teavana, the tea store, and a woman walked in asking for maté. She was a fiction writer and she said stimulates her creativity. Since then, we've had random reports from customers who said that phix really helped them when they were writing a paper or a report. Hmmm... this definitely requires more research. Anybody out there know anything more about the topic?

Whole Foods PNW

A big shout out to Fatimah Mateen our champion at Whole Foods in the Pacific Northwest. We got the official notice from her on Friday that we’re going to go into their Northwest stores. Whole Foods is a perfect fit and we have been working with them for a very long time to develop a product that felt like a good fit for their consumer. It’s exciting to finally get the nod. We'll likely be spending the next few days driving around the state, meeting with the teams and helping get things set up at the individual stores. So by the end of the week we will be in a total of 20 stores. We’re getting a good number of reorders at our oldest accounts and we're hearing from consumes who are clearly connecting with the product. We love hearing from you, so feel free to drop me an email and let me know what your thinking. I can be reached at will@phix.com.
