With a plethora of energy drinks out there on the market, and probably a whole extra room in his house piled up with backlogged energy drinks to try, the Energy Guru found the time to try our phix Teaberry flavor recently. After incredible reviews of both our
citron and
tropic flavors, the Energy Guru found his very favorite phix flavor in Teaberry.
Still impressed by the premium all-natural ingredients in phix, the Energy Guru loved the blend of natural berry flavors in Teaberry, and wrote
a phantastic review of our Teaberry flavor. Some great tidbits from the review are;
"...burst of blueberry and raspberry flavors... mixes (with) a little tea and citrus on the back end to give a cohesive and refreshing flavor"
"...ton of fruit flavor, but not a lot of distracting sweetness or tartness."
"healthiness and portability"
"The boost is natural and jitter free giving you solid stamina and waking up your mental faculties."
We're so excited to read yet another amazing review of phix, and hope you all are as excited as we are! So tear open a Teaberry stik, and let's toast to another glowing review from our friend the Energy Guru!

Hey there Phix Phans! My name is Jax and I am part of the Phix team. I wanted to post some fun facts today about our premium Phix ingredients.
So you may be asking yourself, as I was, what are all of these special ingredients in Phix?
Here are some fun facts:Yerba MatéKnown as the ancient drink of health and friendship. Yerba Maté is pronounced “yerba mahtay”. It is a medical and cultural drink of ancient cultures that was introduced by the Guarani Indians of South America. Yerba Maté can help to energize the body, stimulate mental alertness, and relieve stress.
NADHNADH (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is extremely important to good health. It is an active coenzyme form of vitamin B3 and plays an essential role in the energy production of every human cell. NADH is involved in the synthesis of ATP, the body’s primary intracellular energy source. Every energy-consuming reaction requires ATP, so the more NADH a cell has available, the more energy it can produce. It’s also interesting to note that NADH is one of the only things that has shown efficacy in treating people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You probably haven’t seen or heard much about that though as it costs close to $5000 a pound. Given how great it is for you we thought it was really important to include it in Phix.
EleutheroEleuthero has been most frequently nicknamed Siberian ginseng in the USA. Eleuthero is native to the Taiga region of the Far East. It is known to provide people with energy and vitality as well as stamina and endurance. Many in eastern Asia use it to enhance overall well-being.
Thanks to the help of world-class naturopathic physicians and licensed dietitians that recommended the addition of the above ingredients to our mix, we can enjoy an immediate, yet sustained pick-me-up, without the spike and crash!
How cool is that!
Lately, phix has been my savior! It seems right around 2 pm every day I feel that low and am looking for a phix to help give me a sustained lift for the 2nd half of the day. Personally, I love knowing that phix is all-natural and that all of the ingredients in it are so good for my body.
Cheers!
Jax

Wow. So I just read this article on CNN
(click here to read) about the large quantities of caffeine that mom's across the country are drinking in order to stay energized enough to make it through the day. Here are a couple of quotes:
"I need about four energy drinks, three cups of coffee and a six-pack of soda every day."
"I usually drink two to three pots of coffee a day. I am sure this is not good for me, but how do you keep up?"
The root of problem is that, "We have crammed lives. We work full time, our kids our busier than ever, and we are finding ourselves always on the go." So first of all it's about trying to find some balance in your life. We all tend to overdo it and really need to find more time to exercise, read, get involved with good causes, and spend time with friends and family. Given the nature of starting a business I'm not always great at this, but I have been trying to find a healthier balance. And second, all of these energy drinks, sodas and highly sweetened coffees puts an incredible stress on your organs and really need to be consumed in moderation if at all.
One real world example that hit close to home was from from a Phix Phan here in Seattle who wrote me after they got sick with a kidney infection. Their doctors believed the infection came for two things. One, the medication they were taking in January and February and second, diet. One of the key diet problems was the 2 energy drinks they were having every day. Those drinks had 70 grams of sugar each (Vitamin Water has ~2x that). So he was having 140 grams a day, which created a lot strain on their body. I'm happy to report that they've made the switch to Phix and have been healthy and infection free since.
We know everyone needs help keeping their energy levels high. Try Phix in conjunction with exercise and good dietary habits and we know you'll not only be feeling good, but you'll be doing some good stuff for your body.
Thanks,
Will

Hey there everyone,
It is Jax here. I am here to tell you an intimate experience that I had with my phix stix last night at the Boston Logan Airport. My boyfriend Kyle and I were heading back to Denver from Boston and we found out late in the day that our flight had been canceled and we were given an option of a one way refund and having to find an alternate way home or stay with our current airline and wait until Wednesday to get on a flight home. Kyle and I decided to take the refund and for 6.5 hours we devised a plan to try to both get out on a 6am flight on a different airline to Denver that had one connection and would give us a good portion of the day left to work. This plan included staying up the entire night 20 feet from the ticket counter to make sure that at 4am EST we were the very first in line to try to get me on the first stand by spot. I had to make it from 6pm until 4am the next morning to survive this task. I immediately decided to see if phix could help me to get the job done. I dropped a teaberry phix into my water bottle and began the wait. I worked from 9pm until 2am and felt great. I did not feel "wired" but felt like I could make it and felt a sustained boost of energy carrying through for me. At 2 am we noticed other individuals arriving so we scooted up into first place in line. At this point, I had another teaberry phix and my ability to feel comfortable continued.
Thanks to phix, I was first in line for a spot on standby and ended up on the 6am flight and my sleep deprivation didn't get the best of me. I know now from my own experience that phix can help to give you a gentle boost to get you through. If it is a long night, an important study session, or you are feeling really tired, phix can be your team mate.
Cheers!
Jax

Sort ofOk, so I must apologize in advance that this title is a wee bit misleading. You're probably expecting a detailed tour of the process of phix being made by magical elves in a mystical phix phactory. Well, if that's what you were expecting, this just isn't the post for you, and I'm sorry to spoil the fun.
The phactory in question here is where we're cranking out new phix display boxes in the backyard. This is super exciting because we're constantly growing in order to make it easier for you to find your phix wherever you go. So you can find these custom wood display boxes at smaller boutique stores around the country, and we're cranking out more and more every day! So if you have some great ideas where you'd like to see phix in your hometown, shoot us an email and we'll do our best to get phix to a new store near you.

The finished product looks great and really helps our cool earthy packaging pop out a little bit more. So keep your eyes peeled for a display like this coming soon to a groovy new place near you!

So this thread is between me and my friend Andrea. Granted she's a friend, but I thought it was a really fun review that highlighted some of the benefits that consumers are connecting with. Be well. -Will
---------
Andrea has sent you a message. Subject: I am loving your new thang, my friend! Love the packaging, love the product, love the promos. Stewart is hooked, too!
My response: "Great to hear from you. I’m so psyched you’re into the product, although you’d never tell me if you didn’t love it. :-) What's your take on the flavors and overall what are you digging about the product?"
Andrea's Response: "Ok, I admit I was a bit sceptical at first. I am a die-hard juice girl. BUT: Stewart tasted it and said it wasn't too sweet (first win). When he drank the second sample you sent, I realized I'd better hop on it or it would all be gone :) Then, I thought about how I don't drink enough water & I have a hard time making myself drink it, but with a yummy flavor I might drink more (second win). And it wasn't too sweet! Yes! Then I tried the teaberry (I think it's called?) and I realized that powdered does not equal artificial tasting (third win!) Next, came the morning I had a near-fatal hangover and tried the citron (wins # 4-26). By the time I ordered a carton, I was fully feeling the love. And I *promise* I'm not just saying this because I love you: but when I noticed that the packing peanuts were starch, and that I could put them into my composter, I did a happy dance on my kitchen floor. Peanuts in the composter, box in the recycle bin, nada in the trash, and a big smile on my face. Today I put one in my purse for later, so very portable: need I say more? xoxxo "

Two More Thumbs Way Up!The world-renowned Energy Guru is enjoying another flavor of phix! After a
fantastic review of Tropic, the Energy Guru has now had the pleasure of trying our Citron flavor, and had equally fantastic things to say about it in a
poetic review of Citron.
Bringing back memories from his childhood, we especially love the parallel he makes between the
natural lemon batteries many of us made for science projects in school and the natural energy in phix that makes it so magical. The amount of science behind the formulation of phix is mind boggling (thanks to our good friends at
Bastyr University- more on that in a later post), but the end result is a product that is all natural and truly good for your body. The nice sustained boost that the Energy Guru heralds is exactly what we hope all of you feel each time you enjoy your phix.
Here are some more choice tidbits from the Guru;
"When I drank Phix Citron I felt a wealth of energy..."
"Brightness of the citrus fruits that express themselves without being overly tart"
"Phix Citron charged me up"
"It is really Phix’s ingredients that give you a great buzz"
"Phix filled me to the brim with a stable energy that powered me through an entire afternoon at a constant well regulated energy level."
After all the un-natural crazy energy drinks the Energy Guru has tried (Freek Skitzo, Nitro2GO, and Insane Shot... just to name a few), we're really happy we could give him a nice natural healthy change.
Phix does a body good, and "can be your own portable natural battery for when you need it." We'll tear open a stik and drink to that. Cheers, and thanks again Energy Guru!

At phix, we love our phriends. And we are fortunate to have so many. For example, the folks over at the Generator Group, a boutique recruiting firm in Portland.
Sue has known Roy and Enrique for ages, since their days back at Nike. Roy and Enrique hung up their own shingle and Generator is
the place to go for jobs in the outdoor and active industries.
So of course we just had to phix them up. And
here is what they had to say about us.

So the Barnes & Noble page for Tim Ferris’ book
The Four Hour Work Week starts off with the following:
What do you do? Tim Ferriss has trouble answering the question. Depending on when you ask this controversial Princeton University guest lecturer, he might answer:
“I race motorcycles in Europe.”
“I ski in the Andes.”
“I scuba dive in Panama.”
“I dance tango in Buenos Aires.”
And while it might be a bit wordier, we can now also add, I’m “experimenting with a clever new product that mixes yerba mate with green tea catechins and NADH.” And the best news of all is that he really likes it.
Many of you will already be familiar with Tim. He’s an amazing individual who has chosen to live his life to the fullest and is now helping others try to do the same. You can learn more about him at his website,
http://fourhourworkweek.com. While I’ve known of Tim for a while now, I recently came across him online while doing some research on Yerba Maté. It turns out we’re both big fans of this very special plant. Tim rated Yerba Maté #1 on a list of his 8 favorite beverages. Check out his list --
here. Of course this was written before Phix came along, so we’re hoping for a revision…
Thanks and be well.

Two thumbs way up!Well, everyone at phix is tickled pink today because of this
incredible write-up we got on the blog of the EnergyGuru, the world's foremost expert on energy drinks.
A few choice quotes, from Guru-ji:
"
Mature and nuanced flavor.""
A lot more healthy than your average energy drink.""NADH is ... essential in metabolism and is a welcome addition to the energy drink."
"The fresh flavor seemed to get my day started off right. I never really noticed a decline in my energy levels and cranked through the whole day."
Brilliant. And what makes EnergyGuru the world's foremost expert, you might ask?
Dude, this guy has tried
over 700 energy drinks. When you think about it, it's amazing he can sit at a keyboard and write a blog post, really. I'd be in the emergency room if I drank some of the stuff he's consumed: Throwdown. Crunk. Steven Seagal's Cherry Charge (no joke!).
And the guy is brave! I mean would you drink something called Clamato Energia? He did. And where did he even find 'Exit the Kosher Energy Drink'?
Seriously, though. This is why we made phix. There is a lot of stuff out there that is
so bad for you. But everyone needs a little pick me up, and we thought you all deserved a healthy one.
Thanks, EnergyGuru!
