While I someday hope to take Phix on my own trip to the summit of Mt. Everest, the next best thing (sorry - other than Oprah falling in love with Phix) would be to have a friend do it. Well, last week, on May 23, 2009 Garrett Madison and the entire team on the Alpine Ascents trip reached the summit. While I haven't gotten a chance to talk to Garrett yet as he's still in-country, I did see the below photo of Garrett and Phix on the summit. Pretty amazing.
