Hey Will! Just got back to Kathmandu! What a wild descent, we had a ton of snow while trying to get off the mountain and leaving base camp. Anyway, I got to tell you, when I drank the Phix Energy blend on the Lhotse face (between Camp 2 & Camp 3) going up I had an amazing burst of energy that lasted hours, literally. I felt awesome, so I gave some to one of my fellow guides to drink on summit day. I drank one on summit day as well and felt so good like I was climbing a small mountain like Rainier, while most people feel awful and exhausted while climbing Everest! Whatever you made in that blend, it's great, and I will need to get a supply from you to take with me on all my climbs now. I will send you the high res photos in a few days so you can use them if you want. It was pretty gnarly on the summit when we got there (really windy and whiteout conditions) so I couldn't spend much time on the summit photos, we literally only spent a few minutes there. I will tell you more when we meet in person. Hope you are doing well and enjoyed the slide show we posted. If you haven't seen the photo slideshow or the video please check out the below post.
See you soon!
Garrett
Be well,
Will

Will, reading the awesome climbing story reminds me of my own and makes me feel a little guilty for not sharing earlier.
Last year I ran for the Washington state legislature. I knocked on 13,273 doors in every neighborhood of my district in Seattle. My district represents about 130,000 people and includes the iconic Space Needle and much more.
Phix kept me going in the hot, hot summer and the rough fall and gave me the energy to doorbell morning, noon and night. I'd grab my backpack filled with campaign brochures, a bottle of water and a Phix and head out...day after day after day.
Dude, thanks to you I'm now in a member of the state House of Representatives. For real:
