The science behind the benefits of Green Tea continues to grow. Studies suggest that the antioxidants in Green Tea can lower chances of heart disease[1] and decrease the development of certain types of cancer.[2] Additionally, green tea extract containing polyphenols and caffeine has been shown to induce thermogenesis and stimulate fat oxidation. [3] The FDA has continually found no credible evidence to support qualified health claims for green tea or green tea extract for most of the potential benefits. We believe Green Tea is an incredibly healthy source for antioxidants and recommend that people try to drink a cup of green tea each day. Take a minute out of your day to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. Your mind and body need a break. We have included Green Tea as an ingredient in our Phix Energy blend as we believe strongly in the wide ranging benefits of this incredible herb. 1. ^ The Tea Guardian.
